Here's a good book for getting started with homeschooling - you might find it at your local library. There are many different books on the subject - homeschooling looks different across the world. I did find information in it helpful.
I must admit though, the best information I've discovered comes from talking with other families who homeschool. Your intentions for homeschooling will determine what will work for you.
